About one month ago, Angie from the Lafayette Library in Downtown emailed me wondering if I’d be interested in teaching a two hour course on basic photography: lighting, posing, and workflow. I started at my email for a good, LONG day..until I found the courage to do it.
Almost one year ago, I stood in front of 20 pairs of eyes watching me as I spoke about photography. After the Shadows Workshop in New Iberia…I promised myself I would learn from the experience if given the opporunity to do so. I never ACTUALLY thought it would happen!!! lol..And yet, here it is!
The last course was based around my experience with architectural photography; this course…PORTRAITURE!
I can’t believe it’s already here! This Friday, from 4PM -6PM, the Library will be hosting this course…and it’s F-R-E-E. If you are someone you know is interested in coming out, we’d love to have you join us! The first half will be held inside learning about the camera, shooting, and post-processing and the second half…we’ll actually be shooting with a LIVE model!
I couldn’t be more excited…and nervous…but more excited about this chance to show others a few tips and tricks I’ve learned about what I love most: photography.
