If you could sum up your wedding in three words, what would they be?

Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
We knew we wanted to get married in a Catholic Church because of both of our strong faith. We attend Our Lady of Fatima and we love the beauty of the church. After we got engaged, we knew Fátima would be the perfect location for us to share our love. When it came to choosing our reception, we toured a few places and we didn’t love any of them. I set up a meeting with Jennifer at City Club and within 5 minutes of meeting her, we knew we wanted to celebrate our new marriage there. She made the whole experience so easy and truly unforgettable.
What was your favorite wedding detail?
My dress! When I walked out of the church, Jonathan’s face immediately made me realize I had chosen the right dress! We both absolutely loved it and think it fit my personality perfectly.
What is your favorite wedding memory from the day?
After the ceremony and formal photos, our wedding coordinator at City Club whisked Jonathan and I off to a private dining experience. We were able to take a few minutes to soak in the fact that we were officially married before the party started! We were both so thankful to have a few minutes to spend alone before the craziness of the rest of the night started. It was a great transition between the ceremony and the reception.
How did you incorporate your personalities into your wedding celebration?
We are both strong Catholics so choosing our ceremony venue and the idea of getting married within the church was the perfect place for us to begin our life as married couple. We also both love to have fun, so having Souled Out perform was the most amazing way to get the party started!
What is your wedding song?
I Could Not Ask for More by Sara Evans. We debated on a wedding song for months and couldn’t decide. One weekend, we were sitting on the back porch with my parents and the song came on and I looked at Jonathan and said “this might be it”…then my mom told us that she and my stepdad danced to the same song at their wedding so we just knew it was meant to be!
