What three adjectives best describe your wedding?
Romantic, Classy, Intimate
Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
We chose The Crossing at Mervine Kahn to have our reception mainly because of it’s beauty and local. We didn’t want distance to be a factor, so we chose something close to our home. It had a natural, structured beauty it to that was hard to match anywhere else and a charm that was unbeatable.
What was your favorite wedding purchase?
Besides photography, our florals and Greg’s UL Stadium Cake were my favorite (and Greg’s too, of course) purchases. Flowers and keeping my groom happy were a number one priority for me! Casie and Fallon did a exceptional job on both! Also, my wedding invitation suite was so dreamy! Oh, and my long sleeve wedding dress was just so fantastic! Too many to choose from!
What is your favorite wedding memory?
Our first look! I swore up and down Gregory was going to fall to his knees when he saw me and I was going to be beaming…funny enough, it was the other way around. He was so handsome, I cried and got weak in the knees!
What is your wedding song?
L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole
Did you create any details yourself? How did you incorporate your personalities into the wedding?
My sweet husband hand-made both the mantle and the personalized entrance sign, both items recreated from my dream wedding Pinterest board. My sweet Matron of Honor, Ainslee, learned calligraphy just so my invitations could have that little something extra!
We love our sweet pup, Governor and tried to incorporate him into the wedding by sharing our photography sessions with him. If he could have walked with me down the aisle and danced with me at the reception he most certainly would have!
