Alyssa + John-Eric had gone ring shopping several times but only found ONE ring she loved. Like with most things in life, Alyssa knows what she wants and when she makes up her mind, she wants what she wants. 🙂 Well, the only issue with the ring was that…she found it two years before the proposal! So by the time the “right time” rolled around, it was discontinued. What Alyssa didn’t know however was that four months before they actually went to look for her ring together, John-Eric already bought it!
After two failed attempts a proposal, twice with the ring in his pocket he knew that he had to find a way to propose to Alyssa because he was sure she’d say yes. 🙂 On Father’s Day last year, John-Eric woke Alyssa up from her Sunday afternoon nap. In a hurry to get to the store where the ring was, he searched for any excuse to get her there…which he did.
As soon as they walked in the door, he walked straight to the ring counter and promised that somehow…they’d “find the ring.” Without any difficulty, the store’s employee was opening the safe and pulling out THE ring! <–AH!
Alyssa + John-Eric are the perfect match. They’re opposite in some ways but just the same in others…and one things for sure: John-Eric definitely knows how to make Alyssa smile. 🙂 We spent the afternoon of their engagement session photographing around LSU’s campus. The weather was beautiful…and I had a blast getting to spend more time with them.
Alyssa had a busy weekend here in Louisiana as she had driven in for both her bridals on Saturday and her engagements on Sunday! Enjoy the preview of their engagement session…but you’ll have to wait until after the wedding for her bridals! 🙂
