When you put a group of photographers together, usually a couple of things happen. Most of the time it involves a good bit of camera and business talk, and every time…guaranteed cheesy jokes (my favorite) and a lot of laughter.
The first image of Kaylynn really highlights why I love hanging out with them so much…Dinner was held at PF Chang’s and YES, I will be going back again to have the Mangolian Beef. WOW….Yummy.
We used menus as a softbox, tested out the number of shutters (FYI: I can shoot 17 times before my camera can no longer take the heat and must “regroup”), and discussed our favorite things in life. Apparently, I like straight lines. I know, it sounds strange, but I LOVE what’s modern, orthogonal, and clean.
Now, by no means am I saying clean, as in, I’m a neat person, actually I can be quite messy at times. But I LOVE a white wall with no molding, a dress with little ornamentation, or a design that screams minimal. It makes me SO happy.
So, needless to say, last night was a lot of fun. Thanks so much to Erin Guedry for organizing the night for the Baton Rouge Young Professional Photographer Group. And P.S….nice choice of restaurant. π

In the top picture, this is me with Sara Kelley. I wish I could change my name so that I have two first names…she’s so lucky. And she’s super sweet. It was SO nice meeting you, Sarah!
And this is the group! Mandi, this one was my favorite of you, and we can actually see your face here. π It was good seeing everyone and I look forward to doing this again soon! In the bottom picture, this is Sarah, Kaylynn, and me. You may remember them from my post about our dinner last week. π I love these girls….I think the menu/soft box would have worked perfectly if only we would have all fit underneath. lol
