If you’re not following my instagram account: www.instagram.com/catherineguidry, then you may not know that we just moved into our first home this year. After getting married in December (highlight of our special day here), we decided to settle in Lafayette where we originally attended college!
The time here has been so much fun already and I can’t wait to make many more memories in our humble little cottage home. <3
Our first priority was creating seating for our guests! I absolutely LOVE these barstools that I found from West Elm! They’re now discontinued but thanks to the sales rep in Florida they helped me track down the last four in the country and get them here. 🙂
We’re slowly beginning to find these little pieces that are giving our house a bit of visual organization. Two of those are these Anthropologie Hemisphere Tiebacks and this Neck Tie Marshal. Organization is my jam!
This is our living room (that you can see our small chihuahua Chaos is already loving). 🙂 It’s my absolute favorite space in the house and I love all the natural light which pours in through the tall windows. The ceilings are a bit higher than our last space so my mom was sweet enough to sew on some fabric from Joann’s to the bottom of our ivory drapes! They look custom and beautiful and were the perfect finish to our living space.
