If you haven’t had the chance to see Natalie + Ryan’s engagements yet…please take a moment to do so. I think only then can you truly appreciate this sweet bride’s photographic experience.
I always say that I feel blessed to work with the clients I do and it’s true. Especially living in South Louisiana…the weather is not always ideal. It’s unbearably hot for about 6 months of the year. And the few semi-cool days in between usually bring on the rain.
And that’s exactly what happened with Natalie’s engagement session. We were hoping for a gorgeous day…but when the rain filled the skies we rescheduled and hoped for better. The date we rescheduled for was also the day of Natalie’s bridals. We thought it’d be perfect to do them both in the same day…and you’ll never believe what happened: it poured during her session.
The first part of the shoot we were able to spend outside under the skies until the clouds opened up and we took cover. Thankfully, Rip Van Winkle Gardens offers a GORGEOUS, covered natural light location…so we were able to successfully finish the session.
But what really topped off the shoot was Natalie’s positivity. She was all smiles and even laughed a little at the irony. This positive outlook truly made all the difference and makes me especially grateful to have had the chance to work with this beauty!
Although I was not available for she and Ryan’s destination wedding I’m truly blessed to have been able to photograph her for her bridals. Congratulations to the newlywed Mrs. Pierret…you are not only a gorgeous bride but a beautiful soul as well. <3 And I’m so happy for you and Ryan!!!
