Tell Me About Your Dress! Why did you choose this look?
I always said I wanted an open back. It took a few tries, but the stylist took it off the mannequin and said, “This is THE dress, try it on and this will be YOUR dress!” She was so right! With the low back and lace, the dress feels feminine and timeless. Another big plus is that I can dance the night away in it!
How do you feel when you put on your dress?
When I first realized this was THE DRESS…I began to freak out and felt really hot!!! Everyone was asking concerned and asking if I was alright and there I was asking, “Can we take it home today?!”
Then, when I put it on for my bridals, I felt like almost like royalty. With the hair and makeup, the look was amazing, but once we put on the veil, it was breathtaking.
Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?

Being a teacher, the job never ends. With that being said, I have come to realize, with a wedding I had to be selfish at times and put myself first. You have to understand that this is the ONLY time you will be planning your wedding. You deserve to take time out for yourself and enjoy it because it only happens once! Also let your mom be a part of it. She’s dreamed of it since you were born!!!
