If you could sum up your wedding in three words, what would they be?
Timeless, Gold, Unique
Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
We chose St. John Cathedral, not only for how beautiful and historic it is, but because it’s been the location of many family weddings including my grandparents. We chose City Club because it mimics both of our styles; classic and modern with grays and whites.
What was your favorite wedding detail?
The antique velvet photo album that held pictures of both bride and grooms parents on their wedding day, including my grandparents
What is your favorite wedding memory from the day?
Our first look was most definitely our favorite part of the day because it allowed us to have a moment just to ourselves. It helped us calm our nerves before walking down the aisle. We were so glad we chose to do a first look. Also, it allowed us to take the majority of our wedding pictures before the ceremony so we had more time to party with our guests.
How did you incorporate your personalities into your wedding celebration?
We really enjoy having a good time so we chose really fun reception music to get everyone dancing. We love food and wanted to incorporate all of our favorite things for everyone to enjoy, even down to the bride’s favorite gentilly cake from Rouses and assorted cookies for the groom.
