Two years ago, he convinced me to accompany him to his birthday dinner. He persuaded and impressed that it was unkind to tell him no to dinner on his birthday so I politely obliged. Little did I know it was the first night he would sweep me off my feet with his charm.
His charm….it’s definitely one of his best qualities. I always tell him he could convince someone to buy something they didn’t even know they wanted! He’s a go-getter and when he wants something, it’s his. I’m just happy that he chose me….and according to his friend’s recent story Brad’s mind was made up months before that very first birthday dinner. 🙂
The past two years have been so much fun; finding someone that I absolutely adore and admire makes me feel lucky. He’s a man with good character and intent and I love how much he loves those around him. We spend our time together designing, creating, and building. We love to travel, brainstorm, and dream together. He reminds me to be patient, makes me laugh when I’m too serious, and keeps me calm when I’m overwhelmed.
This weekend, we made some time to celebrate over a wonderful dinner Saturday night and on Sunday morning we made our way out in preparation for my very first underwater shoot. It was definitely a learning experience and I realized that thankfully, tripods will never take the place of people. 🙂 My good friend and fellow photographer Kaylynn allowed me to borrow her underwater camera housing which we bungeed to a tripod and weighted on the bottom of the shallow end. We set the camera on interval shooting and capture images every second for 750 exposures. Twice.
I would also like to send a special thank you to Austin Duhon for the design and creation of my gown and to Ties.com for providing Brad’s argyle tie for the shoot. We laughed and enjoyed the morning together and I can’t wait to hang these images in my home.
This was our setup:
This one is my absolute favorite.
Have a wonderful Monday!

These are absolutely AMAZING….The last one took my breath away.
These are absolutely STUNNING! That last one is my favorite, too, although the color shot with her gown is a close second for me 🙂
This is so romantic, absolutly beautiful, and completely sexy. I just really feel the emotion in each shot. Amazing again, Cat.
Cat, these are absolutely breathtaking. You continue to leave me speechless. I hope to be able to work with you one day.
Thank you for making me cry in the middle of my office. These are so beautiful as is the story accompanying the images. I am so thankful to see you so happy and I am truly in awe of you. And, that final photograph truly took my breath away. I love you!
