It’s been a little surreal for me…being the bride. When we got engaged, it took a few weeks for it to actually sit in that now WE would be the ones planning, taking engagements and exchanging our vows.
This journey has been amazing. Sure, I’ve had a few meltdowns over stress (there’s a lot more to wedding planning that I realized)…and a few nervous moments. But as our wedding date gets near, I couldn’t be more ready.
Engagements were something that I wasn’t willing to compromise. I love photographing engagements because it gives me the chance to know my clients even better and to have the chance to photograph them before their wedding day! I wanted this same experience with our photographer and I was sooo excited to have beautiful images of us in an area that was special.
We love City Park…the oaks, the walking paths, everything. We photographed the first part of our session in the park and the second in the area near Brad’s home. <3 We love spending our free afternoons biking near the bridge and hanging out on the bayou.
