For Saturday’s wedding, Amelia and I opened the door to a room full of beautiful bridesmaids all preparing for their sweet Reanna’s wedding day.
The energy in the room was electric, everyone was smiling and we were excited to be there. As I unpacked my gear and jumped right into the excitement, Reanna stopped for a moment and walked over.
She thanked me for being there and mentioned that she’d picked up a little thought not too long after she’d booked me as her wedding photographer.
She opened her palm, and handed the small silver camera ring to me. I immediately placed it on my “shooting finger” 😉 … and was overwhelmed with happiness.
That little thought…seriously made my day! But you know what…it wasn’t just the gift it was the fact that in the busyness of her wedding day, she had thought of me. WOW.
I am so thankful for so many sweet moments like this. And I feel so so grateful not only to do what I love but to have clients who love and appreciate the work, the effort…and little ole me.
