Tell Me About Your Dress! Why did you choose this look?
I found a photo of the dress via Instagram and instantly fell in love with this amazing Berta dress. I went to several bridal boutiques in the DC area but couldn’t find it. My Mom, younger sister and myself flew to Dallas once I tracked it down and knew it was the dress! I chose this look because I love lace, long sleeves and the open back. The dress is a work of art and the details are amazing. I felt like a princess!

I felt beautiful, elegant and happy
Why did you choose this particular bridal session location?
I grew up in Metairie, Louisiana and remember visiting Longue Vue with my family. The trees & gardens exude beauty and remind me of my childhood in New Orleans.
Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?
Enjoy the engagement and planning! Hire wonderful vendors and trust them. Don’t stress over the little things. Hire a day of coordinator so you, the bride, can fully enjoy your wedding day with no stress! Truly soak in every moment of the wedding day and put your phone away. Live in the present moment because it does go by so quickly and it will be the best day of your lives! It’s such an incredible day to be surrounded by everyone you love so much.
