At the time, they were living in Ohio. At the end of her day, Susan walked in the front door of her apartment, and noticed a rose petal at her feet. Slowly, she traced the path lined with petals. When she finally made it to the door of her bedroom, she was overwhelmed by what she saw: the room covered in flowers, candles scattered throughout and there in the center of it all was Adam: sweating profusely Β down on one knee.
I suppose in the midst of all this perfection, he forgot to turn on the A/C…or in his words, wanted to prevent the candles from blowing out! <–Now, that is a man who LOVES his woman. π
Adam has pretty much done it all; he’s lived in Paris, played guitar for a traveling band, become a sue chef, and even recently, finished Law School. But there’s one thing that tops all of that: Meeting Susan. In Susan’s words, they have an incredible connection and since the moment they first met have spent their free time together…always looking forward to the next time. She doesn’t cook, but enjoys Adams cooking (lol) and is so happy to finally have Adam in the same city with her again.
After being apart for a bit as Adam finished his boards and Susan continued her education to become a pediatric dentist here in New Orleans, they are so excited to finally have each other in the same city. They also love to spend their time together with Junie (their adorable dog) and exploring the city on scooters!
We spent the afternoon shooting in the quarter, a part of the city that Susan and Adam have grown to love and the remainder of the shoot was taken right around where they live…on Adam’s scooterΒ I had such a wonderful time with you two..and I’m excited to be able to share the session today!

The area in front of the cathedral is one of the most beautiful places in the quarter…and I am SO thankful for the beautiful light and for this beautiful couple!
