As the guests begin to filter into the reception venue, they are greeted with a beautiful sight: a venue filled with flowers, detailed decor, and the aroma of fine dining. They walk in and join the party, but not until after first stopping at the sign-in table to leave their mark in the guest book and observe a beautiful bridal portrait display.
Beth chose to display her favorite bridal portrait this past Saturday at Shadows on the Teche for she and George’s wedding. The bridal print was executed on a Slim Wrap. You may have seen my recent post on the Gallery Wraps. The products are slightly different with the slim wrap being….well, slimmer. 😉
It’s an elegant way to display the traditional portrait with a twist of contemporary and simply modern style.
I just love the canvas prints. They’re SO elegant and because they’re displayed right at the entrance create a beautiful and warm welcome for the guests.
The thickness of the Slim Wraps are about 1/4″ and allow the canvas to wrap around the edges just as with the gallery wrap.
I am always looking for texture and character in a location. And I like products that can really emphasize these subtle details. The slim wrap and canvas material make the textures just come to life!!!
Beth is SO stunning. 😉 And just like I mentioned in her bridal post, this location screamed her name. The bricks almost looked real in the canvas.
Another nice option for the Slim Wraps is the mounting. These can be framed, but Beth and I both agreed that the canvas mounts are more contemporary when displayed in a minimal way. And so we added the option for a mounting block on the back.
So, now that they are officially married, she has a beautiful canvas to display in her home.
