If you could sum up your wedding in one word, what would it be?

Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
We absolutely LOVE St. Mary’s Assumption. From the first morning we visited this church to attend Sunday mass with Gavin, we knew this was the place for us to start our life together as husband and wife. The JW Marriott was more of a practical choice. I fell in love with the beautiful ballroom (still dreaming about those chandeliers), the balcony, and the space it provided to accommodate all of our guests. The staff at the hotel were so easy to work with and made all of our guests feel like family. We couldn’t have picked a better place to dance the night away!
What was your favorite wedding purchase?
Our wedding bands! I love the yellow gold on both of our bands. For months we had them together in a box and would often take them out just to look at them. Matt even tried his on one night before we were married and fell asleep wearing it … I guess he was so excited to be married and to wear that band that he had to practice.
What was your best wedding day memory?
The look on Matt’s face as I walked down the aisle.
