Was this the dress you initially thought you’d wear for your wedding?
Oh yes! For as long as I can remember, I have always dreamed of having a classic gown with a big, couture bow on the back. Picking out my dress was the easiest part of the wedding planning process! 

Tell Me About Your Dress! Why did you choose this look?
Walking into I Do Bridal Couture, I knew I wanted a timeless gown with an elegant bow on the back. When I tried on this dress, I immediately felt like a beautiful bride. Saying yes to this dress was as easy as saying yes to marrying Kevin! I later found out that Vogue reviewed this dress as the perfect dress for latter-day Audreys. Because I am always inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s elegant style, I was even more certain that it was the perfect wedding gown for me! 

How do you feel when you put on your dress?
Elegant, beautiful, and a little sassy— all at the same time!

Why did you choose this particular bridal session location?
Immediately following our wedding and honeymoon, Kevin and I are moving to Colorado. I wanted to have bridal portraits that embody the beauty of Louisiana, so that we can cherish them while we are away. The enormous oaks and iron gates at the Alumni Gardens are a perfect representation of our beautiful state. 

Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?
With photos of flawless brides and perfect weddings online, it is easy to get caught up in the details of someone else’s day. This is YOUR special day— so love each moment, have fun, and be yourself.
