The weather has been absolutely beautiful here in Louisiana, so Sunday when one of my best friend’s came into town from Chicago, we decided to spend the day on a roadtrip.
The four of us that traveled to Natchitoches to the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame graduated with our college degrees in Architecture so we were pretty excited about the trip. We had researched the building and were just hoping that the building was just as beautiful in person as it looked in photographs….and it was!
The last time I went to Natchitoches was for an engagement session at Northwestern and Front St (with these areas still being my favorite in the city). But this time…when we traveled down Front Street, we found our destination spot here at the Hall of Fame.
Designed by Trahan Architects the building was a site to see. I’m such a sucker for concrete and modern structures; every time I looked to a new angle I was excited all over again.
I wish I could have photographed the interior with the lights off using only the natural and overhead lighting but these will have to do. 🙂 I hope you enjoy the images as much as we enjoyed the building!
