In August 2010 at a dinner for their friends, David + Jennifer sat across the table from one another. They split an appetizer favorite for both and the rest was history. After going on a few dates Jennifer changed her plans and even decided to stay in state to see where things would go! In addition to mutual friends and hobbies they couldn’t believe how many times their paths had crossed in the path without knowing. Timing really is everything, isn’t it?
Jennifer says what she admires most about David is his character. He’s a solid man that she enjoys especially due to their sharing in faith and core values. They make one another laugh and have found a best friend in life. No matter the hardships they’ve experienced in the past several years, it’s only made them stronger as a couple. As Jennifer put it: Life will most definitely hand you lemons, but it’s so much easier when you have someone to weather the storms with you.
Since they’ve been engaged, David + Jennifer have been envisioning a country/vintage wedding. They loved the idea of lights, lanterns, wildflowers, lace, and personal touches. They wanted a day that was warm, personal and laid back. The color palette for their wedding was gray, yellow, and mossy green; and a ton of personal details were incorporated to make their day special. There was a coffee tea and hot chocolate bar…David’s cookie cake and gluten-free food!
And let me not stop there because Compozitionz band was incredible!!!! Everyone was dancing (even me!) and having a blast! There were smiles, laughter, and even happy tears shed on this beautiful and memorable day.
Congratulations to the Kirkley’s! I’m so honored to have had the chance to meet and work with you!!!!!
