Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
We were in the process of picking where we would have our destination wedding. I started looking up unique wedding venues and stumbled up R + R. I knew from that moment we would get married there and in NOLA. The instant Tony saw it in person, he was ready to sign the contract. It was the most beautiful and unique wedding venue we had ever seen. We wanted a wedding that was different and fit our personalities and R + R was just that!
What was your favorite wedding detail?
Too many to pick just one!!
What is your favorite wedding memory from the day?
Our first dance or getting up and singing with the band! Doing the worm was pretty epic as well!
How did you incorporate your personalities into your wedding celebration?
Ukulele ceremony music and palm trees for the surfing groom and beignets for the non cake loving bride. Top shelf alcohol and a live band for a couple that loves to have a good time and dance the night away. Small wedding party without all of the customary wedding traditions- keeping things simple, just the way the we like it!
