In October of 2011, I blogged one of the most beautiful events I’ve ever photographed. After having spent the years before photographing weddings, the opportunity to photograph my first birth was a huge moment. The emotion in the room and the love shared that day was something to be documented. It was the birth of Rocco.
Over the years, I’ve realized the reason that I love photography so much. It’s not only because photography is a means of releasing my need for creativity but also because it is a constant reminder of the importance of relationships in our lives. Documenting these occasions brings me SUCH joy.
It’s been a little over two years since that day Rocco was born and I was so honored that Angelena + Lyle of Brocato Photojournalism asked me to be present to photograph the birth of Luca as well!
If you take a moment to read the previous post, you’ll note that Angelena’s labor was long and intense for Rocco…and I’m so thankful that this time around things were much different for she and Lyle.
Sometime after lunch…12:58 to be exact, a beautiful baby boy was born into this world. Angelena + Lyle are wonderful people and wonderful parents to Rocco. I’m so happy they have been blessed with another healthy baby boy named Luca ::::
Wonderful pictures of a beautiful miracle.
