Tell Me About Your Dress! Why did you choose this look?
I knew I wanted something with lace and something with an open, deep-v back. Although I never had that ‘Ah Ha Moment’ like you hear about when you find the perfect dress that is ‘The One’, this one just kind of felt right. I liked it more than any of the other dresses I tried AND my mom got teary-eyed when she saw this one on me. Decision made.
How do you feel when you put on your dress?
It is such a surreal feeling, like “Oh my gosh, this is my wedding dress. I am really getting married!”
Why did you choose this particular bridal session location?
I am from the Lafayette area so I wanted someplace near there. I had seen photos from other bridal sessions done there and all of the pictures were GORGEOUS so I figured it was the perfect place. Plus, my amazing photographer recommended it 😉
Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?
Try to enjoy every minute of the planning process….it goes by SO fast! If you are like me and have a certain vision for your wedding/reception then hire someone to help make that vision come to life! At the beginning of the planning process my mom and I thought we could handle most of the details pertaining to the reception but we quickly realized how overwhelming and stressful that can be. Let someone else handle the stress of that…you will already have enough on your plate!
