They were taking pictures for a surprise Christmas gift. The photo was for Joey’s parents…or so Hilary thought. After they finished with the group photos, Joey’s sister-in-law asked if they could take one more photo with her iphone to put on Facebook. The photographer says yes…so Joey’s sister-in-law asked Hilary to run and grab her phone.
When Hilary came back Joey’s brothers and brother’s family were lined up waiting. As she looked to Joey, he asked her “Hil, did you enjoy being in our family photo? Would you like to do it for many years to come?” Before she could say anything, he was down on one knee! She glanced from Joey to his family just in time to see them pull large boards behind their backs that read “Hilary, Will You Marry Me?”
After Hilary said yes (OF COURSE!), they flipped the boards over to read “It’s a Win!” <–This makes me so happy.
For Hilary + Joey’s engagements, we visited the location where Brad and I were married just a few short months ago! We took photos on the Magnolia Bridge and then hopped over to City Park for a few more under the oaks! Below are some of my absolute favorites from the shoot; it was so hard to choose!!!
