If you could sum up your wedding in three words, what would they be?
Traditional, Fun, Perfect

Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
Le Pavillon first opened not long after we got engaged. We went to the grand opening cocktail night together and immediately after walking in, we fell in love with the venue!! The details are so intricate and already perfect that we hardly needed any decorations. As a young girl, I always imagined something like Le Pavillon being my reception venue. It’s flawless in our opinion.

What was your favorite wedding detail?
We tried to incorporate our families and special keepsakes as much as we could. My wedding gift from Forrest was a necklace that included diamonds from both of our late grandmothers. My bouquet had lace from my late grandmother’s wedding dress and a rosary from her as well. Forrest was also able to use his late grandfather’s wedding band.

What is your favorite wedding memory from the day?
Anna- I have two favorites! One being the moment I walked onto the trolley following the ceremony! All of our friends and parents were cheering and it was at this moment I felt so much excitement. Also, our first dance as husband and wife was so very special.
Forrest- My favorite moment of the day was seeing Anna walk down the aisle with her dad and trying not to cry at how beautiful she looked.

How did you incorporate your personalities into your wedding celebration?

Our love for Louisiana was evident throughout the reception! Whether it was the Louisiana shaped groom’s cake, coozies, or the Zydeco songs being played!! Also, the “Life is like a box of chocolates” favors were the perfect Forrest Gump reference 🙂

What is your wedding song?

“Die a Happy Man” – Thomas Rhett
