As long as I’ve known Anne and Vohn they’ve been an item. We met through my close friend Amelia (also my 2nd shooter) and over time have become good friends as well! When I heard the news that Anne was engaged, I was over the moon with excitement for them!
Vohn proposed to Anne in a casual way…one that fit them perfectly. She was in Vohn’s home office when he asked her to grab something out of his safe. So, as Anne walked over she noticed a small ring box in an empty safe. Not wanting to assume, she pretended as if she didn’t see anything at all…and instead turned back around. Only when she did, Vohn was there asking her to marry him!
The thing I love about Anne + Vohn (aside from their super cool, hospitable and sweet personalities) is their “up-for-anything” attitude. When it came time to photograph their engagement session, they were completely open. Anne knew she wanted to photograph outdoors but that was the extent of it, so we decided to take a trip to North Louisiana where we photographed their engagements at Clark Creek!
Louisiana is known to be flat and filled with oaks, swamps and gorgeous landscapes. Clark Creek is just another example of Louisiana’s incredibleness…although this location was anything but flat! LOL We hiked up and down, and UP and DOWN…laughing along the way. <—well, at least in between my huffing and puffing. 😉
The location, their outfits, and especially their love really made for a beautiful session. I love that they laugh SOOO much together and I had a ton of fun for the session! 🙂 Below are a few of my favorites from their session:
