BJ and Kady met a little over 1.5 years ago through a mutual friend. This friend kept telling Kady that he wanted to introduce her to BJ…and although it never happened that way, their paths did eventually cross. It was the night of Kady’s best friend’s wedding. And from then on things just fell into place. It didn’t take long for Kady and BJ to realize that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together and the night of Kady’s birthday he made things official with a proposal.
Kady was completely caught off guard. She had already received a birthday present so she definitely wasn’t expecting an engagement! But after dinner when she walked into her apartment, it was covered with candles, flowers, and rose petals. It was there that BJ asked her to be his wife and they even have a video to always remember the moment.
Kady and BJ are currently planning a wedding that they want to be LOTS of FUN and I’m very much looking forward to documenting the event. <3
But first…we’re kicking off their photography with an engagement session photographed at BJ’s parents property. I love the way they made their shoot so incredibly personal. (and ADORABLE!)
