Cassie + BC’s love started long before they knew it; it started in kindergarten, in fact! Having the opportunity to photograph their rehearsal dinner, I was so amazed by the photos of them growing up and sharing memories together at such a young age. They were just friends up until high school; he was attending Teurlings and she was at St. Thomas More. Her freshman year, she asked him to go to the Sadie Hawkins dance with him, however, BC ended up with strep throat and couldn’t make it to the dance. The next year, they finally made it to Cassie’s Sweet 16!

It’s incredible to think that a relationship such as Cassie + BC’s could overcome it all. They even attended separate colleges: Cassie was at LSU and BC attended UL Lafayette playing golf. And now, here they are….husband and wife. The years have created a love that is destined to last a lifetime; they are truly best friends. In the time that I’ve gotten to know and to photograph them, it’s so obvious that they just “get” each 0ther. They laugh with one another, and finish each other’s sentences.

Even during the mass, Father shared with their guests that BC loves the way Cassie pushes him to be the man he is and Cassie adores the way that BC loves her unconditionally. Cassie + BC have been anticipating this day for a long time. At the rehearsal dinner, Cassie even said that she “may have been anticipating this day from the womb” (although she admitted it may have been a stretch) <–she’s so adorable. 🙂

The day was perfect: Their color palette was Navy Blue, Green, and Ivory with a touch of Orange. Cassie + BC like to be different. Their wedding was a representation of Southern traditions with their our “Thibeaux” flare. And I’m excited to have the chance to share a preview of their wedding day! We’ll start with Cassie’s BEAUTIFUL bouquets. WOW>>>>  When I saw this area of the fence in her backyard, I just had to shoot here. I adore the colors of her flowers and the flower combinations!

Dailey Thibeaux is BC’s brother and an artist. So, Dailey created a canvas for each of the bridesmaids as a gift from Cassie + BC. 🙂

Cassie even took the time to have these golfballs custom made at Golfballs.com for their ring shot.

I wish there was a camera on us (myself and 2 bridesmaids…including Lauren, one of my former brides) as we attempted to balance all three rings on this golfball! lol

Cassie’s Badgley Mischka shoes were perfect for her…and so gorgeous!

….a little more bling for the bride. 😉

When I arrived to Cassie’s home on the day of her wedding, everyone was ready to go! (I love her organization) They all looked so amazing with their hair and makeup!

I am so thankful for she + BC as clients!

Touching up lips before putting on her gown!

Although scattered throughout all the details, Cassie’s style was really shown in her dress!

Cassie had a wonderful crew of girls with her to share in their wedding day. They were so attentive to Cassie and I really enjoyed meeting all of them as well!

There’s just something I love about this moment…

….and the one that followed. LOL

BC on his wedding day…looking spiffy! 😉

While I was with Cassie, Amelia was with BC grabbing these photos of him getting ready!

I can tell from the images that Amelia captured how much fun the guys were having just relaxing on BC’s wedding day!

BC wore a bowtie while all of his ushers wore ties…and their suits: SLICK. Loved them!

They chose grey tuxes to keep things unique!

So sweet!

I always emphasize how planning is important. Cassie + I discussed these photos before the wedding day and she opted to go to a 2nd location before we headed to the ceremony spot. I absolutely LOVE the way these turned out!!!

You ladies look fabulous! 🙂 And the bridesmaids dresses….AH! Perfect. This setting couldn’t have been more “Cassie.”

St. Mary’s is so warm!

Before the ceremony, Cassie + her bridesmaids prayed together! Amelia grabbed this photo of such a special memory.

The guys had some time to just hang together before the wedding began!

While I was photographing the processional, Amelia grabbed this shot of Cassie just before she walked down the aisle!

BC’s reaction when he first saw Cassie on their wedding day. 🙂

And Cassie’s expression as she walked down the aisle toward BC.

Their wedding was made very personal by each who participated in the mass.

Cassie’s mom sat at the piano to play “The Prayer” (even I was crying). It was so touching!

I love that in this photo you can see the emotion in Cassie’s face and the way that BC reached over to rest his right hand on her arm, because he didn’t want to let go with his left. 😉

This was both Cassie + BC’s favorite memory of the day.

The Newlyweds!

Cassie + BC opted not to do a first look, so after the wedding we spent some time photographing in and around St. Mary’s.

Christopher Turner created a LIVE portrait during their wedding. Cassie + BC gifted this to each other; it was such a unique idea!!

LOVE this photo of them! 🙂

Cassie, you are stunning!

Abacus was covered with details that expressed more of their personal style.

Cassie + BC’s first dance as husband and wife!

Cassie’s mom….cheering them on!

Cassie + BC were working the dance floor!

Cassie’s dance with her father!

BC’s dance with his mother.

BC’s dad is HILARIOUS. And even that description could be an understatement. During BC’s dance with his mom, I grabbed this photo of him as he pretended to “film” them. 😉

Their lovely cake by Crystal Weddings!

I did give Cassie + BC a sneak preview of this image before today, and BC loved it! These guys are so much fun!

🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Another of Cassie + BC’s favorite memories was dancing with Krossfyre to the song “Cornbread!”

The thing I loved about Cassie’s approach to her wedding day was that she took a no stress approach and always stayed focused on enjoying her marriage to BC and moments with those she loves the most!

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. BC Thibeaux

Cassie + BC,

Thank you so much for choosing Amelia and I to be the ones there photographing your special day. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you from Day 1 (or maybe even Day minus three hundred and something, when Cassie caught Lauren’s bouquet) 😉 …

Truly, you guys have been such a delight: You’re creative and open minded, visionaries but trusting as well. And I am thankful for you! I hope your day was all that you dreamed of and more…and I’m happy for the both of you. I’m anxious to keep in touch as your lives continue to grow. I have no doubt that the rest of your lives together will be filled with a ton of amazing memories!

Catherine
