Was this the dress you initially thought you’d wear for your wedding?
I knew I wanted a silk gown, so not wanting lace dropped my options down to 12 out of 100’s of dresses. I wanted a solid white boat neck dress with no beadwork or detail on the front, but beadwork on the back. After trying on 5 dresses, I put this one on, and completely changed my mind about the lack of beadwork. I loved it.
Tell Me About Your Dress! Why did you choose this look?
I should have lived in the 1800’s. Lady Sybil Branson is my spirit animal! However, my dress is nothing like the dresses from the 18th century. I am like Lady Sybil in her harem pants, a rebel, trying to make fetch happen!
How do you feel when you put on your dress?
Like I can’t wait to see Randon on that altar May 27th!!
Why did you choose this particular bridal session location?Randon and I’s first date was a canoe trip in Lake Martin with Pack and Paddles excursions. Then my very first Christmas gift from him was a Mignon Faget pirogue necklace because of our first date. Not only is Lake Martin beautiful, but it will forever hold a special place in my heart!Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?
Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?Don’t let the wedding take precedence over the sacrament of marriage. That wedding is just another day to me. That moment I become one with Randon, is the moment I am anxiously anticipating!
