Tell Me About Your Dress! Why did you choose this look?
I was envisioning an all lace, fitted dress. I knew that I wanted some sort of an open or lace back, but was open to trying anything. I was drawn to the beautiful lace detailing on this dress when I saw it on the rack. When I slipped it on for the first time, I was shocked that I liked it so much. One of the first things I did with it on was twirl around in a big circle. I loved the way that the bottom of the dress flowed around me.
How do you feel when you put on your dress?
This dress makes me feel so elegant. I love how it’s simple, unique, and COMFORTABLE!
Why did you choose this particular bridal session location?
I loved the idea of shooting at Audubon Park with all the oak trees – it felt very “New Orleans”. While we were shooting it started raining on us so we ended up going downtown for the second half. Catherine made the process run so smoothly and I was so happy with the way it all turned out!
Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?
Enjoy every minute of it! Don’t stress over details. Everything will work out in the end. And use the word “fiance” as much as possible – it never gets old! 🙂
