As a wedding planner, having a space that felt elegant and timeless without having to transform it was really important to Calyn and her NOW husband, Lawrence! 🙂 When they walked into The Old Governor’s Mansion, it truly fit their vision for the day.
Speaking of their wedding day, it was perfect! The night after the wedding Calyn shared that she and Larence sat in their room for over an hour just talking about how special everything was and how truly blessed they felt. I’m a huge proponent of doing a First Look, and this couple shared that this moment for just the two of them was one of their favorite!
Aside from their First Look, Calyn explained how much they enjoyed the ceremony (and how loved she felt by Lawrence there at the alter). She even described the sense of calmness in that moment…knowing she was marrying her best friend and soul mate!
They ended their ceremony with a brass quartet playing their song, held a second line from the rose garden to the front lawn, and left the venue in a fabulous getaway car!
Not only is Calyn a wedding planner, but her sister and brother-in-law are photographers/owners of Brocato Photo!!! Talk about PRESSURE! 😉 I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to document this special day. Everything about it was thoughtful, meaningful…and beautiful! And so, I won’t wait another minute to share! Enjoy!!!
