If you remember Katy + Armand from their recent newlywed session,
then you probably had a pretty good idea of how incredible their wedding was going to be. The wedding was held at the Louisiana Museum in Baton Rouge,
and everything from Katy’s beautiful gown to the unique and well-thought out details told the story.
Katy + Armand are just what I describe as my style of photography, Simply Modern, and I am so thankful to have worked with them
(as well as EVERYone else from the wedding!!!)
ONE day…I hope MY own wedding is as beautiful as theirs. 🙂

I think this image of the group is my personal favorite. It took a little bit of coordinating to make it happen, but it was totally worth their efforts!!!!!

The Louisiana Museum lined with chairs and beautiful bows made by Katy’s mother Mrs. Jeanne. Look how beautiful…she’s amazing!!!!

All the little details that made the day so unique…including another of Mrs. Jeanne’s creations, the Jelly!! 🙂
Ps…I love the china and the food was truly an art piece.

Katy + Armand’s guest book was a favorite cookbook of theirs. As you can see, Katy + Armand are happy being THEM.
And I can truly respect and admire that. 🙂 Isn’t her ring so different?! Stunning…

I can only imagine how good Armand’s cake was!
This installation hung above the cakes in the entrance area.
This was quite the emotional wedding….everything from tears to nerves to laughter and freestyle dancing…
I am so blessed to have been able to capture these precious moments.
This Katy’s family…they are so wonderful.
This is one of my favorite moments from the day…during their first dance as husband and wife…
Mr. Norm picked Katy up and started swinging her around during the father/daughter dance. 🙂 🙂 🙂
The blue toasting glasses were really neat..Kind of neat the way the matched the bright blue of the glass at night.
The cake pull was so much fun to watch as all the girls were either REALLY excited or disappointed. lol…definitely a fun tradition.
Everywhere I pointed the lens there were beautiful things to photograph.
All the months of planning and implementation by the Ryans, the Michauds, and Ms. Debby Musso definitely paid off.

All day long, I think Armand was a big hit with all of the kids…especially when he was sneaking them cake. lol

haha….This one makes me laugh. Mr. Norm is SO much fun!
I laughed so much throughout the day…all the stories make me smile. The picture with the girls (top left)
was right after Katy threw her bouquet and it broke into three…lol.
The picture of Armand + Katy cutting the cake was taken when Armand was licking it off of his fingers.
And the picture bottom middle was taken when Armand decided to put the garter around his best man’s neck. 🙂
….and they exited to their honeymoon through a LONG line of sparklers. What a wedding!!!!!!
LOVE!!! You totally rocked this wedding! My fav is the fisheye of the chairs with the capitol in the background. I also love the detail shots and dancing/reception shots.
Hey Amanda! Thank you for the compliments. I loved their setting…the capitol, the architecture, everything…can you believe her mom made EVERY bow?!!! Incredible. The dancing was CRAZY!!! lol…Miss you girl. 🙂
Love, Love, Love the pictures! Katy had some great ideas and visions for her wedding, and worked hard to achieve them. You capture the details that resulted in an evening everyone described as “comfortable, elegant, fun and SO KATY & ARMAND!” Your photos help us re-live and appreciate the celebration — and that’s what photos are supposed to do.
