Or Maybe It’s Love

Maybe it’s that they both like wine, and dancing, or the relaxation of fine dining.

Maybe it’s that they both like the arts, enjoy the outdoors, and UL football.

Or maybe it’s LOVE.

You may remember Lauren from she and Jon’s wedding months ago. She shot the cupid arrow the night Greg and Angelena were introduced. He asked her to coffee for his birthday (Brad did the same thing with me…;) And the rest was history. They realized their common interests, their zest for living, and they fell in love.

The engagement session was taken at Country Charm Bed and Breakfast, so a huge thanks to Eric and his wife Gloria for allowing us to shoot there.

I was thrilled when I saw their outfits for the shoot! They started off with a really sharp look; Greg in his suit and Angelena in her beautiful red and black lace dress.

They were so at ease from the start, both very calm and relaxed.

It was really nice to see them so engaged with one another, they did an amazing job forgetting about the camera and just enjoying each other.

Eric and Gloria, the owners of Country Charm, have been raising ducks on their property. So, they gave us some corn and bread and Angelena and Greg were able to feed them.

I think if I had to pick a favorite from the day, this might be it.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day or a better spot than this.

Greg and Angelena eventually drifted off in the boat together and paddled around for a bit…..

Angelena told they really enjoyed the session and it gave them a chance to escape for awhile.

Yes, these are Angelena’s feet. 🙂 She definitely jumped out of the boat…bare foot into the mud. And then crinkled her toes in it. 🙂 🙂

This whole set of images goes down in my favorites for fun and natural moments.

I love that when they’re around each other it’s as if the whole world disappears.

And they REALLY have fun together; just fun. They laugh, they cut up, and they enjoying being around each other.

When I was going through their images from the session, I found myself smiling. Because they are just so enjoyable to be around.

I really enjoy engagement sessions because it gives me the chance to get to know them even better before the wedding day.

I would say, based on the images below….they’re a match made in heaven. Don’t you think?

But they also know how to be serious….
