What three adjectives best describe your wedding?
Unique, Sacred, Loving
Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
I always wanted a blank slate. I wanted something that I could transform into my vision and my visions changed often. It didn’t hurt that the building is beautiful and the windows and lighting just made such an elegant evening glow. I loved the fact that the reception was attached to the ceremony, so when the sky opened up and it started pouring outside, no one noticed.
What was your favorite wedding purchase?
The handkerchiefs that we gave to the bridesmaids and the groomsmen. I didn’t even make it through the doors before I started crying and luckily my best friend had hers ready.
What was your best wedding day memory?
…finally getting to Randon and never letting go of his hand.
Did you create any details yourself? How did you incorporate your personalities into the wedding?
There were very few details that I did not create. I would have to say that my favorites were: the boutonnieres (each one was had a special meaning for the man that wore it), the bridesmaids’ dresses were picked by each girl to fit their style and the bars were built by my Dad. I always have these visions and designs in my head that I can’t get down on paper and somehow he always understands exactly what I want and executes it perfectly!
What is your wedding song?
