Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
The ceremony venue (The Pharmacy Museum) was originally chosen because it was one of the only places close to Pat O’s that would rent out a space for ceremony only. But after looking at the place and seeing the courtyard we realized that it was everything we wanted in a wedding venue. The space perfectly fit us….easy and elegant yet simple. It was only a coincidence that we chose a place that represented what we do for a living.
What was your favorite wedding purchase?
My favorite wedding purchase has to be my wedding dress. I had been eyeing that dress for months on Instagram so when we went dress shopping, I chose to go to Blanc bridal specifically for that dress. I saw it as soon as I walked in and it was the first dress I grabbed. I saved it and tried it on last and as soon as I put it on I knew it was my dress. It was simple, easy, elegant yet a little bohemian. It was also super comfortable. For a long time, I wondered if I purchased the right dress but when I put it on on the day of the wedding, I fell even more in love with it.
What was your best wedding day memory?
The entire experience is my favorite memory. Everything about the day was perfect. The weather was beautiful. The day was fun getting our hair and makeup done. The ceremony was everything I wanted and the reception was the best party I have ever attended. I could not have asked for a better day. It was everything and more. I would do it 10 times over again! It was the best and most fun day of my life!!!
How did you incorporate your personalities into the wedding?We love details and bringing together family. We incorporated a memory table to remember those who have passed and pictures of our parents at their weddings.
