Naomi + Travis’s life journey began in central part of Lafayette, River Ranch’s Town Square. It was the day before Naomi’s mother’s birthday so they were celebrating together at Rhythms on the River. A friend of Naomi brought her boyfriend along…who also brought Travis!
Instantly, Travis + Naomi connected, and despite the loud music and tons of people around…they were only focused on each other. They made their relationship official the day before her birthday and he proposed the day before his. And so…their wedding took place one year after their proposal on the day before Travis’s birthday (it should always be easy to remember their anniversary!) 🙂
The color palette for their wedding was Sangria, Grey, and Pink (to combine her love for pink and his love for LSU). There were lots of pearls and “bling”…and plenty of sentimental elements. Naomi’s mother embellished her own wedding veil for Naomi with mantilla lace and appliques. Even special hidden pockets were built into Noami’s dress, which were made of her grandmother’s wedding gown.
They truly thought of it all.
Amelia and I had a wonderful time working with Naomi + Travis. Despite the heat of their early August wedding here in Louisiana, they were nothing but a TON of fun to be around. We were privileged to be a part of such a special day, photographing two individuals so madly in love.
Naomi + Travis,
Congratulations! I wish you guys the very best! 🙂 I hope you had a WONDERFUL time on your honeymoon…Enjoy your wedding day preview.
