On a shoot, I try to keep things interesting. I change things up, and I’m always looking to do something fun and different.
WELLLLL….sometimes, when in search of an adventure, I get one. During Meaghan’s bridal session, I decided it would be a great idea to backtrack into an area we shouldn’t have been in for a specific location. And the entire crew was up for it…so we did.
You may know that I am currently on the hunt for a new vehicle. If any day made me want to purchase an SUV it was this one. As I stared at my vehicle, half mounted on the grass, half in the air, I realized it may not have been the best idea to move off the trail in my 2004 Camry. As a team (boy am I lucky to have such AMAZING clients)….Meaghan’s sister-in-law and her mother helped me push the vehicle as I jumped in to slam the brakes bringing my car to a safe stop. (Meaghan cheering in her wedding gown from their SUV)
From the time I met Meaghan I knew we were a match. She’s so beautiful and cares about the details but doesn’t get caught up worrying over the small things. She’s carefree and up for anything; she also trusts me which is the biggest compliment a bride can give. 🙂
After Meaghan and Cory’s wedding on Saturday night, I was sad to leave. Because through this process I’ve grown to love being around them. Right now, they’re off enjoying Europe and I’m happy to finally share Meaghan’s bridals.
Meaghan,
I can’t believe we pulled off such an incredible bridal session in such a short amount of time. And despite the minor set back when my car was stuck, this process has been nothing but smooth. 🙂 You are an absolutely stunning bride and your gown…AHHH…I can’t say enough about it. Thank you SO much for hiring me as your photographer and I cannot wait to post the preview for your wedding day which was just as beautiful as you are.
Live Simply, Love Freely,
Catherine
