Tears filled Katie’s eyes on the day of her wedding when she talked about wearing her mother’s gown. It was something she’d always envisioned. And now that she had met Tyler, her dream would come true.
Katie was my “little sister” in high school. We cheered together and I adopted her as my favorite on the squad. 🙂 I always felt like Katie and I were kindred spirits. We’re both pretty silly, love to dance, sing…and laugh. And it’s so awesome to see (and photograph) her during this time of her life.
When Katie talks about Tyler, she says that she loves him because he grounds her. He’s the perfect compliment to her personality and I’m so so so so so so happy for her.
Katie looks absolutely stunning in her mother’s gown and I can only hope that these images portray her for the beautiful woman that she is…both inside and out.
Katie chose to photograph her bridal session at Acadian Village. She thought that the Cajun cottages and vintage setting would be the best compliment to her look; I couldn’t agree more.
Congratulations, Mrs. Jensen. You make a gorgeous bride! <3
