They dated for a week in Jr High. But like most young relationships, without the ability to drive and truly date, the relationship developed into a friendship. With a large group of mutual friends, Sarah and Nick spent much of their time together.
And for the three years that followed their initial Jr High relationship, they became best friends, establishing a foundation that would eventually turn into a lifelong relationship.
In their junior year of high school, Sarah was diagnosed with mono and much to her surprise, the man by her side was none other than…Nick. He was there for her when she needed him, and he’s been there for her since. Shortly after Sarah became healthy again, they became official…..not only as best friends, but as a couple.
Over the years, Sarah + Nick have continued to grow: together. Nick’s is Brad’s first cousin, and since I’ve had the pleasure of meeting both he and Sarah, they’ve been a couple that I look up to and admire. They have an unspoken and mutual respect for one another filled with understanding and loyalty.
I am so thankful that they have chosen me to photograph their sessions…having recently photographed Sarah’s bridals was a blast and now, to share in their engagement session means so much to me. I absolutely CANNOT wait until the wedding!
I also wanted to give an extra special thank you to Megan for allowing us to shoot on your uncle’s property. It was the perfect location for such a perfect couple.
I LOVE Lucy. 🙂
Happy Monday!!!
