This day rolls around every year right in the midst of wedding season…and the craziness of life. But I love that no matter what is going on in my world, Brad always finds a way to slow things down.
I know that this is the moment that some may roll their eyes and leave the page so I’ll keep the mushiness to a minimum. 🙂 But I do want to say that I feel so lucky to have Brad as my guy.
Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite days of the year…obviously…I mean, I’m absolutely obsessed with LOVE and I love that there is an entire day dedicated to it! I hope that everyone from the newly engaged…to the life-long lovers are somewhere spending time together, being thankful for the relationships that we have.
This week has been absolutely crazy and and I’m stoked for some new things in store!!! I’ve spent the past 24 hours…literally, working on a project with my good friend and videographer Tyler Meaux and have been working hard to develop a new website for my existing and potential clients, as well as for other photographers and visitors just looking for inspiration!
The site should be LIVE soon!!!! And I.CAN’T.WAIT!
But anyhoo…I digress. There’s so many wonderful things about dating a “creative” as I like to categorize Brad. He understands when I’m busy and gives me my space…and also contributes to my crazy ideas and thoughts. The song he wrote for me for today is being used for a personal project and is more romantic to me than any else he could have given. He’s given me his time, thought, and love… and for that, I am so thankful.
Another great thing about dating a “creative” is that he understands my love for photography and goes along with it when I want to have photos taken of US! With Valentine’s Day coming up, all I asked was that we have our photo taken! It’s been about two years since we had my good friend Kaylynn Marie photograph us and …. well, I don’t even look like the same person! I lost about 10 inches of hair and I’m a blonde. In addition, I wanted to update our photo with a memory of where we are now.
Thanks so much to Stacy Landry Photography for working with us on the shoot! They even created this special backdrop when a few adults decided to participate in their Valentine’s Day photoshoot! I thought it’d be fun to branch out and be a part of something a little different.
