During yesterday’s one-on-one photography consult with Lacey, she asked me a variety of questions…one including “What’s the best advice I’ve ever received?”
I thought a lot about the question…my first instinct going straight to advice on gear and photography. But the more I thought, the more I came back to this quote:
“It’s not how many mistakes you that matter, but how you handle them.” –unknown
As a photographer, business owner and human…I’m destined to grow. I’ve learned so much over the past five years about myself and how to be a better person and wedding photographer. But all this growth is a direct result of the mistakes I’ve made. Occasionally, when I make mistakes I get really down and it takes a moment for me to pick myself back up. But when I do, it’s because I’ve found a way to remind myself that I’ll not only never let it happen again but that I’ll also be stronger for having worked through it.
It’s been a few months since I’ve created a desktop backdrop so this month I thought it’d be great to share this message! I’ve also created a backdrop for the iphone as well!
If you’d like to download this backdrop for your computer…simply follow the instructions below:
*Click HERE to access the high resolution image (or click the image below). When the image appears, click and hold on the photo. While holding, drag and drop the image on your desktop.
*From there (if on a Mac), visit the “System Preferences.”*
*Click Desktop/Screensaver Option.*
*In the Folders section (on the left) click desktop, find and click the image.*
*Enjoy and be inspired!
And here’s a version for your phone (sized to fit an iphone 5) but there’s the ability to resize when using the image.
