Days like today..lay by the pool. If you’re hungry, grab a snowball. Read a book. Enjoy the breeze. OR you can always watch the 20 hour coverage of the Royal Wedding on ABC. 🙂
I had an interesting week photographically. Being that 90% of my business is weddings, when I take on other jobs it allows me to change things up a bit..keeping me constantly inspired. While I was photographing on UL Lafayette’s campus this week, I came across this girl laying in the quad and it made me smile.
College life. I wouldn’t know much about it, as I spent the 6 years I was in college studying architecture and trapped in the “black hole” known as Fletcher. However, there is a calming and free energy floating around campus that you can’t deny.As I strolled the campus documenting life as we know it here in South Louisiana, I was so enthralled by this girl.
I layed on the ground and grabbed this image of her to remind me always to enjoy life and the little things. Amongst the craziness, I must remember to pause, take it all in, and appreciate the small moment of pure bliss.
This afternoon, I will be busy shooting the wedding of Brianna and Mike. I’m looking forward to the creativity, to the fun, and to the opportunity to document the little things.
