Cory and Jenci met four years ago at CrossFit Lafayette. Well, that is where Jenci says she met him at least. 😉 Cory says he met her 10-11 years ago at LSU while they were in college. It was their first year of college so for whatever reason Jenci could not remember…but Cory did not forget! 🙂 So, “technically” they met at CrossFit (at least that is what Jenci says). LOL They became friends first and about one year later, they went on their first date!
This past New Years, Jenci’s parents took her sister and their boyfriends on a vacation to California. They spent the first three days in San Dieog and then took a train to Beverly Hills. There they spent the rest of the weekend. Cory was waiting for the perfect moment to propose and he found it as they were hiking up to the “Hollywood Sign.” Jenci stopped everyone and encouraged them to take a photo. She said it would be the perfect spot for a picture of the city! She handed her mom the phone and took a photo with Cory. As she walked toward her mom to grab the phone back, Cory took her hand, pulled her back, gave her the sweetest kiss and wished her a Happy New Year. Then, he proposed!!! “Of course I said YES!” she says.
We photographed their engagements on the campus of LSU. And I could not be more excited to share their engagement session! Jenci’s outfits are SO perfect! We really had such a good time during the shoot, and I am incredibly happy for these two!!! 🙂
