Modern spaces make me happy…REALLY happy. My friend Kaylynn once laughed when we were discussing something that we loved (ie: a favorite book, or a special object that was gifted to us)…I slowly and hesitantly announced, that I love lines. 😉
I do. It’s true. I LOVE lines. Even during architecture school, I was always drawn to that which is streamlined, sheek, and clean. The occasional organic design is interesting but when I walk into a modern space, I secretly squeel inside. Yesterday, after the Britney concert (which was AMAZING by the way…all I expected and more), I stayed in Houston with a friend of mine. Her place: Incredible.
In fact, I promised myself I wouldn’t bring my camera so that I would focus on our friendship and the event at hand and now I wish I would have!!! It’s color palette consists of greys, whites, and blacks (the neutrals that I love) with deep red accents. AHHH!!!! I couldn’t stop myself from thinking how much I would LOVE to photograph a bride there. I wish I could swallow it all up and take it home with me.
I am actually currently in the process of redesigning my living space at home and I thought it would be fun to share some of the photos I’ve found as inspiration. If you love lines, too…I’m sure you’ll enjoy!!!!
