These boots are made for walkin’….and dancin’…They’re pretty much my go-to shoes. π
I also like to refer to them as my “Shootin’ shoes.” They take me wherever lifes adventures lead, professionally and non-professionally…and to be quite honest, they make me happy. Every time I look down at my feet, I’m reminded of SO many happy times. I bought these boots on a trip to Houston with my mother and I’ve worn them SO much since.
They’ve slid their wooden soles on the concrete of the Harley Davidson parking lot during Biking on the Block, slipped on the wooden floors moving to the sound of Jamie Bergeron at Cowboys, and they’ve stomped in tune with other boots at Whiskey River. π
I’ve taken these boots through dirt, water, you name it, they’ve done it. And this is why they’re my shootin shoes. I feel unstoppable when I shoot in them. For sessions, I like to take clients to spots that aren’t always typical…sometimes muddy, often bug infested and occasionally shared with alligators. It just happens that way, it’s not necessarily planned. We like to keep an open mind here at Catherine Guidry Photography. π π π
So, before I slipped on my boots this morning, I photographed them. Because I always want to remember what these boots stand for: Risk-taking, Comfort, Happiness, and Dancing Through Life.
