There’s a few friends in my life…that I truly clicked with from the start. And over the years, Netter and I have always been so similar that I’ve leaned on him for advice, guidance…and most importantly, laughter.
When we finished our undergrad degrees in architecture at UL and he decided to attend The University of Pennsylvania for grad school, I was pretty devastated.
It’s been tough not having my friend here anymore…but I must admit that I love our hangouts! I suppose it’s good in a way because our long distance friendship gives us something to look forward to…and when we do hangout, it’s all day Netter + Cat for several days!
In April of this year, Netter came to NOLA for the weekend! And even after having visited New Orleans time and time again…it was a completely different experience with him there! He and Bobby had the awesome idea to rent scooters which was both an awesome idea and a terrible idea simultaneously. LOL
We scootered through the city of New Orleans, and I’m pretty sure Bobby almost got hit by a car… a FEW times. But nonetheless, we all survived and it made for some really great memories! LOL
A few weeks ago, I traveled to visit Netter in his new hometown of Chicago. But when I went to blog the photos today, I realized that I never blogged the film photos I took the weekend he came in. So….first New Orleans…and then, Chicago! 🙂
Oh Brad…lol
We had lunch at a restaurant called Amelie’s that I highly recommend. Both the shrimp and grits and salmon were soooo good.
Hold onto the friendships in life that you feel that connection with! And no matter the distance, always make time for those you love! 🙂
