In life, we’re all connected. Like an invisible necklace, we’re strung together and clasped at the ends. Over one year ago, I photographed Beth + George’s wedding. Little did we all know, I would soon be photographing her friend and bridesmaid Amy’s wedding as well. It is such an incredible journey we all live together and I’m so excited to now be a part of Amy’s special moments as well.
In fact, Beth was a part of the ring selection. After being offshore for 21 days, Brent came home and contacted her. He wanted the opinion of her best friend because for Brent, what Amy wants matters most. 🙂 He finally selected the perfect symbol of his love for her…an object that would last a lifetime on Amy’s hand. He entrusted the ring with his daughter…and they left for Tennessee.
Upon arriving to the beautiful land of Teneessee, they embarked on their first adventure: a hike…intended to end with the site of an exquisite waterfall. Amy had no anticipation of what was to come; and what did, would leave her with an incredible reminder and Brent’s promise to spend the rest of his life loving her.
Amy + Brent spent the afternoon with me in Rip Van Winkle Gardens…photographing on the most beautiful of days (and there aren’t very many of those here in Lousiana so we have lots to be thanful for!) 🙂
I just love the way he looks at her.
This shot is one of my absolute favorites from the session.
Amy, you’re gorgeous!
LOVE LOVE LOVE
They even ventured into the water for this shot. I love a couple willing to take a few risks for a shot!
I’m very much looking forward to the wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon in the landscaped gardens of Rip Van Winkle. 🙂 Have a wonderful day!!!
