Spend a Dollar, Change a Life. That’s just how simple Love Drop’s mission is. Headed by Nate St. Pierre and J Money, Love Drop is a micro-giving network of generosity. People from all over the world have joined LOVE DROP so that in their micro-giving, Love Drop can make major impacts on people everywhere, once every month.
I was contact by Nate to document the May Love Drop here in Louisiana. The drop was taking place at Church Point High and the focus: The Stalnaker Family. Since the Oil Spill, like many others in Louisiana, they have strongly felt the impact. In the last year, they have lost over half their income and both cars in the same month.
Regardless of their hard times, Joy and Tony continue to bring love and happiness to each other, to their little boy Bradley, and to Joy’s classroom at Church Point High School.
I am honored to have been asked to document what happened at the Love Drop this past Thursday morning at Church Point:

As a side note: My dad attended high school here as well, it was fun to think of him making memories as a Church Point bear.

….The excitement began.
A gift was given from Bradley (Joy and Tony’s son) to Nate and J Money.
Meet J Money. Loving, energetic, and so intersting!!! He started the day addressing the students and Joy’s mom, thanking them for nominating Joy and her family.
This. is. Nate. 🙂 Nate has a giving heart and the mind of a business genius. He and J together are doing BIG things and affecting lives. I am so happy to have met them.
Bradley remained SO excited throughout the gift giving.
They received passes to visit SO many places in the area….and it was obvious how much they love their son. Having the opportunity to make him happy in turn, makes them happy.
…Joy and Bradley have been wanting to see Kung Fu Panda 2. The Cinema in Crowley gave them the opportunity to do so.
A PS3!!!!!!!
This surely made Tony happy, especially since Joy would be the one using all the book Amazon Book money they received. 🙂
Nate reminds himself everyday of his goal in life with three simple words: CHANGE THE WORLD 
The moments to follow were priceless. At the beginning of the day, J and Nate informed the family that they were unable to find a vehicle; they told them that times were hard. And they are.
However, love overcame the hardships. The Love Drop donors were able to contribute in a way that surpassed their expectations. They presented a check for $1200…..
…..And the keys to a Red MUSTANG!!!!

Thank you! Having been there as an observing, only to capture the moments as they unfolded, I was affected. My heart felt the impact of this organization and the donations of it’s givers. I truly believe that love can overcome anything and you are a testiment to that. Joy, Tony, and Bradley’s lives were changed last Thursday because of you and that is incredible.
