What three adjectives best describe your wedding?
Simple, Vintage, Romantic.
Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
Justin and I love antiques and anything with history. We chose the 200 year old chapel because we absolutely loved the wood and chandeliers. We loved the perfect imperfections of the church! We chose the Wolff Ballroom for our reception because we loved the exposed brick and wooden beams. They only thing better than the look of the Wolff Ballroom was the staff! Andrew was AMAZING, as well as the waitstaff, bartenders, and the cooks! Everything was perfect!
What is your favorite wedding purchase?
This is tough and if you would have asked me this before the wedding I would have probably said something like my engagement photo book or my cake stand. But now I would have to say Justin’s cake and the backdrop my dad and I built. The look on Justin’s face when he saw his cake and when I told him what it was made of was priceless!!
What is your wedding song?
Someone Like You- Van Morrison
What is your favorite wedding memory?
Walking down the the aisle toward Justin. I could not stop staring at him. I replay this over and over in my mind and I get the biggest smile every time I do.
Did you create any details yourself? How did you incorporate your personalities into the wedding?
I cut and tea stained the lace on the tables. My dad and I built the back drop for Justin’s cake. I think our koozies and our sign in plaque represent our personalities as well as our wedding colors. Justin and I are a little shy and reserved at first (ivory and blush) but once we get comfortable we are loud and outgoing (gold and plum). Gold is also one of my favorite colors so there were touches of it everywhere and almost everything on my cake table was gold.
