When Nick popped the question and asked Brad to be in the wedding, Brad and I made a deal. Sarah + Nick were married on the Eve of New Year’s Eve and THIS was the compromise: I REALLY wanted to shoot the wedding, and Brad REALLY wanted me to be his date for the wedding and to enjoy his cousin’s wedding….who means SO much to him.
- So we decided that I would ONLY shoot the prep and the ceremony and would assist Sarah and Nick in finding a photographer…one that would shoot the entire day, including the reception. Thanks to Brandon O’Neal, Sarah + Nick’s wedding was the perfect compromise.
This isn’t something that I normally do but for this situation, I think it was the Perfect idea!!! I was able to document and enjoy the preparation part of the day. In fact, it worked out so that I photographed Brad and the rest of the guys before the wedding (something I don’t normally do) and it was REALLy fun! I absolutely can’t wait to post the images.
The ceremony was beautiful, and I was positioned toward the front so I was able to see and document every ONE of Nick + Sarah’s expressions. After the ceremony ended, I changed into high heels and a dress, we hopped on the Party Bus and headed to the Petroleum Club. 🙂 At the reception, we danced, we sang, I ate a full meal…annnnnnnddddd cake! It was the perfect day and I’m so happy to have done two things I loved so much in one night: Photograph Their Wedding & Spend Time With Brad.
At the wedding there was a photobooth, so Brad and I jumped in for a few shots. I love this guy. 🙂
