Elegant; timeless; romantic.
Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
Alumni Gardens – it is natural and beautiful. There is plenty of space, and although it feels open and airy, it also feels secluded and protected.
What is your favorite wedding purchase?
Wedding Dress, food and cake. And of course my photographer and wedding planner! I can’t choose my favorite. I loved it ALL.
What is your favorite wedding memory?
First look with my Dad, seeing Nick for the first time during the ceremony – with tears running down his face, and the way the wind was blowing during the ceremony. It felt magical.
Did you create any details yourself? How did you incorporate your personalities into the wedding?
Yes – I wanted the Bridesmaids to have different dresses. I picked the dresses I felt best suited each of their personalities. I wanted a starry night – and asked for tons of “twinkling” lights, soft lighting and candles – to help give that elegant romantic feel I envisioned. We also envisioned a very formal affair!
